Merry Xmas!! @ Melbourne

First of all, MERRY X'MAS!!!

Was my 2nd year celebrating christmas here. Am pretty tired, but nevertheless fun.

Although most of the shops are closed, and the streets are really empty, I really do wonder how the huge population disappear in just 1 day.

So, we ( Damien, Damien's bro and gf) started our journey by eating dimsum. And it was super packed!!
And after that, me and damien headed to the Melbourne Aquarium. Those King penguins are just awesome!!!, they are so cute, and huge. Gosh! I really love penguins!!
It was a good trip in the melbourne aquarium, although it's a little too small, but I love the sharks, penguins and the super humungous sting ray (They are double the human size).

And later on, walked to crown, and we headed towards the arcade. Guess what!! I won 2 jackpots with lesser than 10 bucks spent!! And I won more than 3000 tickets (around 4k). It's getting closer to wii/ds/watever.

And later on, we catched a movie (was so surprised that Village cinema is actually opened, and it's so crowded in crown, LIKE SERIOUSLY). Watched the day the earth stood still, was alright. Nothing much to talk about it. :D

Last but not least, went home and play monopoly. And i lost of course, was at first the riches, and my money just got flying away, thanks to that expensive land. GRHH.

Ps: We ate turkey on christmas eve. :D

the santa mail box. CUTE!
super huge christmas tree around Collins

And it's boxing day today (supposed to be the day after christmas), and boxing day sale is just awesome!! I woke up at 7, and headed to guess, and there are already loads of people que-ing up. GOSH! I Que around 1 hour, just to get my mum's bag. It was a good sale, since they offered like 50% off on all goods.

And sales in myer is just crazy!! It opened at 5am today, and there are just loads and loads and loads of people shopping.

And I bought nine west, for 50% off on all shoes!! Jayjays for bro, and it's just $10 for each tees.

Am really exhausted now, and I shall head back for 2nd round shopping later.

Late Post

Sorry for not blogging recently, was reading to my heart content the twilight series.

At first, I was so frustrated since I could not get a copy of new moon (sold out in big w, and my brother bought our copy back to kl), so I went and read the new moon e-copy. Was so lucky, cause I finally found a website (I guess that's the only site), with new moon, others are all with breaking dawn.

And new moon is awesome. I love the first twilight, since It's so mushy, and romantic and touching, but new moon is just extraordinary. Cried for a few chapters for it, and the tears just can go on and on and on forever. Gosh, Edward is so romantic, and Jacob is so nice. But seriously, I'm still wishing for Bella to become a vampire.

That's my opinion though, lots of you guys still agreed that she should be with Jacob.
;)

Boymongoose

Found these videos online, and they are really awesome and cute!!

I've tried to click on their profile, and I've found out they are Australian Indians (quite predictable though). Since Australian Indians and Malaysian Indians are really different in a way. As in, when we talk about Indian food here, we think about butter chicken, instead of roti chanai/canai (these are more into Malaysian food here) :D

Maybe next time I should do a brief comparison between Australian Indians and Malaysian Indians.

PS: I'm not making a generalization of all Indians. And I'm not racist. :D

Ais Kacang Song

Have been humming this ais kacang song for a long time, without really knowing the proper lyrics.
And I've finally found it online (thanks to Damien). Hopefully you guys still remember this song. It was taught in primary school during music classes.

I find it pretty cute though.

Ais Kacang, Ais, Ais Kacang
Bila cuaca panas rasa dahaga,
Singgah di gerai, Ais Kacang diminta
Susu and jagung
Kacang dan lengkong
Air gula berwarna
Campur semua, enak rasanya
Kegemaran kita semua.

Tried google-ing a ice kacang photo. And I've found this.
Seriously, I felt pretty scary, since it's so colorful and stuffs. The round round things, looks pretty fake, I bet there are loads of colouring used.

I still miss the ice kacang I ate in penang. :D
And the RM 1.30 ice kacang from the super slow movement uncle near my house (Not sure whether it's still the same price or not). Seriously, he's like doing taichi while making my ice kacang. I've always waited like 30 minutes before just for an ice kacang.

Twilight

OMG, I'M ADDICTED!

After watching the movie, i'm in love with Edward. I'm all melted.

And I started reading twilight,

And bought eclipse and breaking dawn.

DAMN, I NEED NEW MOON, but my brother brought it back to KL. DAMN!!

PS: I shall read new moon in borders. Don't care. :D

I CONFESS, I ATE ASAM LAKSA AND CLAYPOT LOH SU FAN!!! The exactly same with those sold in KL, in Old town kopitiam!!

Red Eye

I finally felt content to my heart, after finishing my task. Being unable to sleep the whole night (still blaming the effect of mild caffeine in my wu-long tea), my eyes began to sore, itch, and it's getting redder.

At first glance, I thought it was just a normal "sand goes into my eyes scenario"

But it's getting worst by this morning.
I barely can see light, and it's happening again.

OUCH!

And I went to the pharmacist, after bringing my brother to the airport, and he gave me a prescription of eye drops.

Seriously, the eye drop sounds so scary.

Disease: Mild short term conjunctivitis
Take note: Please consult a doctor if no reduction of blood vessels in 48 hours.

Sounds like I got myself a big disease? It's just an red eye! Those where you rub your eyes when you felt itchy. GRHH. And it cost me $18 for that eye drop and $8 for another eye drop.

Lesson: Don't EVER rub your eyes.

PS: I finally sat skybus ALONE. Was my first experience sitting public bus here. Fun :)

my eyes are itchy. Ouch :(

Melbourne weather's CRAZY

The weather is getting crazy nowadays!!

It's terribly cold, and windy during summer!

And the wind is blowing me off, when I was waiting for the tram yesterday.

Worst of all, it have been raining non stop for the past 2 days.

GRHH.. AND IT MADE ME SLIP WHILE I WAS WALKING DOWN THE STREET.

Goodbye sandals and my favourite croc.

GRHHHHH

Damien FINALLY

BLOGGED!!!

Have been waiting, till my neck is growing longer (psychologically), biologically my neck is still short and fat.

Ok, so Damien finally blogged, after nearly 2 years of persuasion.

But you guys are too late, he deleted all his old juicy post! DAMN!

Lucky for me, i still remember,

how he talked about his sayangs :D

Maybe I'm just jealoused.
I just bought twilight.

Have decided not to watch the movie, since most of them said the book is still better. But maybe I'll change my mind after sisca's persuasion.

Have a thought about it. XD

And my brother bought the new moon.

Happy! Happy! Have got storybooks to read for this holiday.

Since when I'm such a nerd?

Weeee

*Yawn*. I'm still sleepy, just woke up from my nap (or shall i call it as yesterday's replacement).
Barely slept the whole night yesterday, while waiting upon my results.

And I roll on the bed, for every hour to pass, and finally it was 7.15am.

And I decided to try my luck to check my results (since they say it will be released on 9am)

And the stupid firefox 3 stuck

Over and over again,

And I tried IE.

And my laggy pc, and internet, and finally

I entered the portal, and clicked on the "get my results" icon.

AND YEAH!!! I PASSED ALL MY EXAMS!!!

WASN'T THAT WELL DONE, BUT WAS EXTREMELY HAPPY, CAUSE I REALLY DID NOT EXPECT A PASS FOR MY BIOLOGY!!!

GOT, H1, H2A, H2B, and a Pass.

I know it's bad, but, I'M REALLY HAPPY. At least a h1 for acc (when I lost a whole question, since I barely even do it), and a h2a for data.

Very the excited-ness.

Then, i rush to poor Damien, who is still sleeping, and shouted

"I PASS!!! I PASS!!! I PASS!!!" (oh poor thing)

Till he finally woke up (upon my loud voices), and he began clicking his results.

And what happened is,

the subject that he expect to fail, he got an H1 (what a miracle eh?)

Very the excited-ness!!!

Just came back from gym classes, and body jam rocks!!

Love the dance classes (cause this is the only class that I can follow up, since I've learnt before XD)
Anyways, uploaded this song that I love, from my body jam class.

Called santa baby.

DAMN HOT!!

Curry Puffs

Being pretty bored, and I decided to bake Curry puffs @ 12.22am!!!

I'm getting pretty crazy nowadays. But 12.22am is still better than 3am (baking egg tarts).

And

I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY CURRY TO COOL DOWN!!

STILL WAITING :D

Sunday, December 7, 2008

I just wanna scold, for a second.

WTF!!! NEARRMARRRRCHIBAI!!BITCH!FUCKER!!SHUTYOURMOTHERFUCK

Alright, I'm feeling better now. At least, I've let go of my temper.

Well, wanna know the reason?

Then tell me what it meant by a blog for you,

1. A thing where you can fake your entries, so to please others and get famous?
2. Your personal diary, where you can blog about anything you want?

Cooking Mama & Wii Fit

Notice that I haven't been blogging for few days? Well, there's a reason for it.
First, I'm lazy, and secondly I'm busy playing with my new wii games. And I bought 2 games, and they are awesome!!! (Not exactly, I did not buy both, I only bought my wii fit, and Damien bought me cooking mama)

First of all, cooking mama, is better than the DS version. Comparing the DS version and wii, in Wii, you can actually use the controller to shake and cook. *laughs*
And that's so fun, for a noob like me! Shouting with excitement when I can't even peel the carrots (Well that's because I'm panic, and I can't control my hands to cut it).
Loads of delicious recipes, cute images, but the vocals? Er, kinda weird. For those who played cooking mama knew what I'm talking about, it's like a dubbed Korean english slang.
I would give them a 3.5 out of 5 rating!! -not bad huh? Still thinking Super Mario Galaxy is better (eventhough I've only passed 2 stages XD)

SO KAWAII!!!

And you can play with your friends, to see who is a better chef!! AWESOME!!

And this is the DS Lite version, still AWESOME!!

And well, I've also bought myself a wii fit, And yeah, I'VE FINALLY BOUGHT IT, AFTER MONTHS OF DREAMING!!

For wii fit, it's good for exercising, not a suitable game for those who are looking for games. It's more like a personal home gym with a computerized personal trainer where you can learn Yoga, Muscle trainings, Cardios (I LOVE THIS!!), and games.
Me and damien have been fighting the whole time, to beat each other's high scores!
Well, I've finally beat him by achieving 636 spins for hula hoop!!! Weee!!!!!
AND THE GOOD NEWS IS, I've lost 0.8 kg in 1 day!! AWESOME!!!

The yoga training

the football game, that I've always lost to damien! DAMN!

HULA HOOP!!!

Alright, and after playing these games, I shall aim for guitar heroes world tour!

Trinity February Valedictory

Went for my brother's valedictory, and sneaked out during the middle of the ceremony.

Will describe it in 1 word,

BORING!!!

No offense, the valedictory is worst than ours, maybe our intake is much smaller compared to theirs, ours is full of fun, as in we know each and everyone of us which are sitting surrounding us.
On the other hand, for the feb intake, it's super quiet, not because they are civilized or what so ever, it's because they barely know each other sitting around of them.

Anyway, february intakes got CDs given to them, with photos of each of them with their friends during the whole last week of class.
Unfair! But who cares, maybe that's the thing that is given to them instead of camps. Muahaha.

Food Fun

Damien went to work, and asked me for suggestion for lunch. And I told him to eat shit.
And this is what he replied me,

I ate mighty Melbourne shit and fried shit with sperm and herbs.

All of those can be translated into real food, so take a guess!

The circle goes on and on for everyday in my life for the holiday. I shall start studying - am i nuts? Neh I'm not! I definetly wont wanna fail my subjects next sem. It's just a pretty hectic sem for me this sem, since It's the first sem, and I probably havent get used to uni life. It sucks pretty much.

Well, my circle of holiday starts by waking up at 12 noon - check facebook - tv - lunch/snack/maybe none - tv - dinner - tv/game - sleep (3am) - and the circle goes on and on and on, maybe it will end when I finally get back KL (since it's like a sin to wake up after 9am at home back in KL)

My life is pretty boring, and Leo's going back today. Too bad huh.

List of things to do during the holiday :
1. watch as much series as possible
2. play zoo tycoon- finish my ultimate 100 rating zoo
3. play rollercoaster tycoon 3 - bought the game with a 1/2 price value in eb games. but the game is pretty hard, i fall a sleep a few times by watching the tutorials
4. study my cell and division, and mind brain I for next sem.
5. Shopping for cny!!
6. Shift house, finish my contract stuffs.

Wow, seems like a long list, but it's always shorter than those list to do for exam weeks.

Speech Of Silence

You guys must be wondering what have I been doing for the past few days of holiday. To tell the truth, I did nothing, except lying on the bed, maybe sometimes I change the location of my laptop to my desk, while watching tvb series.
I've bought the "speech of silence" 2 days ago at chinatown.
This show is awesome, And I've only spent 2 days watching. Thumbs up for my self! *wee*
Have to go out real soon for lunch, and I shall start cleaning my house, which was left undone for the past few weeks. It's a horror!!!

Saturday, November 29, 2008

I ate "fat put"- the round yam thing surrounded by chicken
fu yong omelet
and sambal kangkung!!!

AGAIN! Yeah, and I sort of talked to the waiter, and as we expected, from KL.
Really felt embarrassed to go there anymore, but really can't resist the food. Compared to rice bar, I really love this place more.

Australia Movie @ Australia

For all of you out there, who thinks the movie Australia is boring, YOU ARE WRONG! I find it awesome, and I'm so buying the DVD to keep! Maybe gonna watch it for another time. I love it so much! A 3 hour movie, but with loads of climax, comedy. And it's so touching! And since we learned about aboriginals in HOI classes, gosh, these are like a real epic film where you can actually feel it and see it with your own eye.

Finally I'm officially free

Yeah, free for now! at last, after a super big break in between my exams, and now I finished it. The paper was ok, except i didn't manage to finish the last quest, but still It's alright.
Anyway, there was this new place that we are recently eating, called Taste of Asia. Was not bad, a real Malaysian cuisine, where you can eat like you are in Malaysia restaurants.
Was super happy yesterday, cause I ate and finally ate sambal kangkung!!! and Fuyong omelet , GOSH, THEY ARE SO MY FAVOURITE FOOD.
And they even sell claypot rice drop noodles, -haven't tried, but hopefully what I'm thinking of.

WEEEEE...

I SHALL DOZZ OF NOW, I NEED SLEEP!

West Lake @ Dimsum

Went for a brunch at west lake. Not the first time there, actually the second. Was ok, Not bad. Love the "wu kok" - fried yam thingie as usual. But to tell the truth, nothing special there. Still shark fin house is better. The siu mai and dumplings are sort of overcooked, sticky at the surface, but the taste is alright. There are loads of prawns, compared to dimsum in KL, of course these are better. Unfortunately, there are lesser varieties compared to shark fin house. But positively, you do not need to wait compared to shark fin house, no long ques and of course, you do not need to squeeze yourself in small tables.
But I'm still loving Chuai Herng Restaurant, the shanghai dumplings there are still incomparable!! AWESOME. Something that I must eat when I get back KL.

Ok, I should really start studying, but my soft big bed is still tempting me. I'm so tired, maybe because I woke up early today. Alright, JULIA YOU SHOULD WAKE UP, AND STUDY, AND STAY STRONG! GO! GO! GO! DATA ANALYSIS!!!

Countdown, 103 tutorial questions
74 quick quizes
2 past year

LEFT

Quantam of Solace & Grill'd

Just came back from a 9.40pm movie. Late huh? And, to tell the truth, Quantam of Solace was not bad, even though we watched it cause we do not have any other movies to watch. And I love the theme song of 007!!
And we had grill'd for dinner. Was the first time eating grill'd, and the chips are awesome!! The super thick chips, with oregano and herbs with herb mayo. Drilling. But honestly, I still feel edgeburger's super crunchy chips are better.
But Grill'd burger are better, love the panini bun, and they are freaking healthy. I ate a caesar palace burger, and the size is big.

Grill'd ratings, a 4/5 for the burgers, and it's really feeling.
AWESOME. GONNA HAVE THAT REAL SOON.
*there's one right behind my house, maybe for lunch tomorrow then*

Deep in my heart, I wanna sing. BUT I CANT SING THAT CERTAIN SONG. cause i promise not to ever sing after knowing the so called secret. GRHHH

Life is not fair

3 more days to my final last paper, and still I'm playing poker? Gosh, I should really start studying after a week of full break. Not to mention, I'm going for quantam of solace later. SHYT. And life's really unfair, I'm "sort" of studying now, and damien, leo and Melissa already finished their final papers when I'm the one who started my exam weeks before them. IT'S JUST SO FARKING UNFAIR! grhhh

Sunday, November 16, 2008

I really don't feel like studying psych. *Sigh*

Friday, November 14, 2008

Finally, a post

Finally, a break between my exams, not a huge break, but at least i get to sleep for a day or so. I'm just so freaking worn out. And my exams are in dead shit. First of all, Bio is hard, I managed to study, and I have to say that I wasted most time in my bio, while ignoring accounting. And yet, it's so farking hard. grrrr.
And Accounting was, all right, at least I get to balance my first question, and my bank reconciliation just can't balance! Damn you. And the paper is freaking long, and some of the questions just don't make sense. Sigh. Whatever. And now, i've got 3 days left to study my psych and after that a 2 weeks break till my last paper.

SIGH!

Finally sitting in front of the laptop table, after printing hundreds and hundreds pages of notes. And there are still hundreds to go. My next exam, which is my first exam in uni is in 2 weeks time. I mean exactly from now. I've got 14 days left, and what I've studied for Biology? NOTHING!! (probably a little, since my notes are all crummy and messy and ugly, it's just too fake to say that I've not been studying at all, but in the perspective of preparation for exams, it's just NOTHING!).
Anyway, I'll be flying back to KL around the 20th January, will be staying around 2 -3 weeks this time. I will see, if I get a flight here.

Another good news, not really a good news, but yet one of my highlights this year. My dad appeared on a local business magazine back in Malaysia. Which I've been waiting for a long time, and I mistook it as "the age" intead of "the edge".

*I laughed my ass out through-out the article*

Literally, it's not funny at all. But since I'm his daughter, and knowing so much about him, i find it pretty hilarious with the editor's choice of words.

"the taiwan educated Low" - Then will I be "the aussie educated Low"?
"the new kid on the block"

*faints*

Conformity Experiment

Just finished about my essay yesterday about conformity, and we did conformity again in tut today. BUT IT WAS FUN! we did a conformity experiment. And we did it on the lift. OMG. IT WAS DAMN HILARIOUS. I WAS LAUGHING MY ASS OUT AFTER THIS EXPERIMENT.

Ok, what happened was, we did a experiment as a group consisting of 4. And for another one, we did with the whole class, around 20 of them.

Imagine, we are standing at a crowded place, in front of the bailieu library entrance, and we started to look at the sky right infront of the entrance. 20 people starting above the sky, and pointing our hands.

What will you do? Conform to us?'

Ok, this is what happened, all of the people who came out from the library turned and looked up. And some of them, actually turned, and look and stand there. OMG. You might think it sounds stupid, but people do conform. That's the truth, unless you are a psych graduate, and you know what we are doing.

And for our group designed experiment, we did the lift one, exactly like Milgrim's experiment. We started with 1 people in the lift, 2, 3 and 4. And we faced our back to instead of facing front. OMG. IT'S SO FUNNY TO ACTUALLY SEE PEOPLE TURNING THEIR BACK, AND CONFORMING TO US!!!

AND ONE BOLD GUY ACTUALLY TURNED, AND HE FELT WEIRD, AND HE TURNED HIS BODY HALF WAY FACING THE BACK. *muahaha*

I've posted up the video, the exact experiment we did, and yeah it worked!!! *except the part on the hat*

Have fun XD

Racist, Rude Safeway Liquor Guy.

I was fucking pissed with the Safeway guy. I guess he was racist. Guess what happened today,
Me, Mel, Damien and Leo went city and bought groceries for steamboat tonight, later on we went and bought some the liquors for tonight's moon cake festival celebration. Guess what, the cashier asked for our identification, OK FINE. Gave him our IDS. Student ID at first, he do not accept it. Obviously. Later on, took out our Malaysian IC, he looked at our age, and I can see he was counting our age in his brain, but guess what? Instead of letting us buy, he wanted to save his own pride for asking for our age, and messed with us, saying that our identification do not work here, and he need our Driver's licence, passport (wtf?) or Keycard (honestly, I haven't ever heard of it before).

WTH!!!! WTF!! YOU NEED PASSPORT TO BUY A 4% CHOCOLATE MOCHA? AND I'VE GAVE HIM ALL THE IDENTIFICATIONS I HAD, AND HE KNEW THAT I WAS 18. HE JUST DOESN'T WANT TO LET US BUY. I WAS FUCKING PISSED WITH HIM. FUCK OF YOU UGLY ROSS LOOKING INDIAN GUY (I'm not being racist, just to him).

Damien told him that we have bought it all these while, and he should know, that to own credit cards we are obviously 18. We told him we are international students, so obviously we will not own any Australian IC and Australian driving licence. And who will ever bring his passport around? As in 24/7? Our student ID works as our identification! I should have asked him for his passport instead, since he's selling liquor, and he obviously don't look like a local, and no one will actually own a keycard. Isn't it worst to sell liquor to others when you don't even have identification for yourself? OMG. I GUESS SAFEWAY REALLY LOST LOADS OF BUSINESS DUE TO HIM. IF THE BOSS OF SAFEWAY EVERY READS MY BLOG WHICH I DOUBT IT, PLEASE TEACH YOUR EMPLOYEES. AND THEY ARE VERY RUDE!!! OBVIOUSLY.

*calm down*

Ok, so we are obviously very pissed. Went back all the way home, and instead of buying liquor below my house, we took our passports, and went back all the way to safeway. Patiently waited for our tram, and took the 15 minutes tram. JUST FOR WHAT? JUST TO HOPE THAT GUY IS TILL WORKING, AND THROW OUR PASSPORT INFRONT OF HIM. PIFF.

Ok, so this is what happened.

We went into safeway liquor, and he can see us. OH WHATEVER. And I can still see our liquors behind the counter, with alot more other types of liquor. I can tell, he was being racist towards asian chinese. OK, I KNOW YOU ARE FUGLY, AND YOU CAN'T GET ANY GIRLS, DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO DO THAT TO US?

Ok, back to topic, we were que-ing, and a chinese couple infront of us bought beers. The guy paid his liquor, and he obviously look old enough. He ask him for ID, and he showed him his Driver's Licence with Working Permit Card. Guess what, I can see that the fellar wanted to play on the couple as well, but he went on speechless. And guess what happened, he asked for his girlfriend's ID. And she's not even the one paying. Ok, whatever, it's the law. The girl showed her student ID, AND WORST, HER STUDENT ID HAVE HER BIRTHDAY STATED ON IT. That fugly guy obviously would not let her go. And I can see that guy was fucking pissed. And they went off.

And fine, it's our turn. He recognised us. And he went speechless. Asked for our ID. And I opened my bag, and threw out our passports on the table, with the face of * YOU REMEMBER ME? YOU RACIST!*

He didn't even glance at our passports! He went speechless. And, later on, he open our cover, with a quick glance of lesser than 1 second. *Wonder what he can see with that, see I proved that he knew we are 18*. And we went off, and he did not ever apologize to us for his behavior. If I'm a lawyer, I'll see him in court. Gee.

Anyway, although I'm still pissed, I still made him speechless. So, I should be happy with that.

CONFORMITY? COMPLIANCE? OBEDIENCE? OH WHATEVER. I NEED FREEDOM. I'm currently stuck in my essay. I'm doing on question 1 which is about conformity. Conformity is a pretty interesting area of psychology. To think about it, I do wonder why I follow the norms of fashions. Have to put a thinking cap on my brain for that.

Have to sleep soon.

PS: I'VE ONLY WRITTEN 398 WORDS OUT OF 2000 in 3 hours time. Damn. I've to be quick.
PPS: I know you guys hate my songs, and I heard there's sort of imeem problem on the songs. But I promise you guys that I'll either delete the player or change the songs soon. Right after I finish my essay. Hopefully by tomorrow. XD

11.9.2008

I'm currently blogging in the ICT building computer lab. UNFAIR!!! I DIDN'T KNEW THEY HAVE SUCH NICE BUILDINGS HERE. UNFAIR!!! Damien and leo took informatics, so I have to come here and watch my yakitate japan. By the way, it's the first time I've stepped into this building since it's on the other side of the university, where honestly I haven't been here before.
That's freaking unfair! I've been located into ugly buildings. Fine, psychology and biology both shared a same building, and it's the tallest building in the whole university, but who cares, it's the oldest, ugliest and dull building. OK, I'LL STOP COMPLAINING.
Am too bored, and random in the ict building waiting for my anime to load. XD

Rants

I guess I should start blogging, but I've got nothing to blog. XD
Anyway, I'm currently having an red eye. Although it's getting better, yesterday was worst. The whole eye was red. Cause I did not sleep the night before to study for my bio. My bio exam went ok, actually I was quite satisfied with my marks. I GOT A 9.2!!! WEE!!XD. I have to claim that I'm lucky, cause I heard the questions are pretty hard for Francisca's class. Anyway, my bio lab did not went well. I guess. I've got 2 questions that i'm unsure for the lab test (we have lab test for every of our bio lab as assestment. *sigh*) And I did not get that high for my fly lab either, cause I understand the question wrongly and wrote other things on it. Was so sad when I see other people getting 10/10 when I've only got like 8.5?
So, I've finally finished all my exams, and I've got 4 more days and my essay will due. FARK! I HAVENT STARTED!!!

Ps: Any idea what is a grey pen? My ang moh lab partner asked me for a grey pen, and I got blur. She must be thinking I'm dumb. Anyway, grey pen means lead pencil. It took me so long to find out she was looking for that.

Primary school life

Have been reading a post on my friend's blog, and it somehow drift me away thinking about my primary school teachers. Honestly, my primary school memories somehow leave a deep dark scar deep in my heart. No offense. First of all, the teachers. Most of them are great, but somehow, a few of them, seldom leads me feeling depressed. Not about what I did. I was a great, quiet, well behaved student back in primary school. Back to the point, some of my teachers have favoritism.

Well, I should say most of the teachers have favoritism. I guess that's not the negative part. The point is, they gave unfair treatment towards other students by protecting their own relatives/their colleague's child. These favoritism happened to me since I was in standard 1. Well the battle started when I have a classmate (not going to mention) X who is a niece of Y(she's some sort of a high ranked teacher). Z who was my class teacher is a good friend of Y. So I guess you can roughly know what happened.

But nah, It isn't that simple. In primary school particularly standard 1, where you are not divided into the intellectual classes or normal classes, we are all mixed around. Teachers tends to judge student according to their attitudes/behaviors in class, physical outlooks and particularly handwriting. Gee. During standard 1, since I was trained since 2 years old in childcare, my handwriting was considered as one of the best ones in class. And the conflicts started here. My teacher Z, who was begged by Y to promote X as the class monitor comes into dilemma. Obviously, I think I was the better one (gosh i'm so proud of myself), Z chose me as the class monitor and X as the deputy. Gee. Obviously X and Y got so angry at that moment. (I got these sources from X lately) And the worst part, they planned with Z that whenever I do a single mistake, I'll be fired. Gee. How can they do such things to a primary school kid? And isn't teachers supposed to be fair, justice, and now FAVOURITISM? Gosh. How the hell are you going to teach kids when you are showing such attitudes. Wanting us to celebrate teachers day to remember your DEEDS? Gee. Ok, Calm down. Back to the story, My job as a class monitor was stabil til once, when I was not feeling well. And obviously, since I was so fainty, my handwrittings tends to be abit messy. I mean just a little. (Since my mum checked my work, and she couldn't even notice the differences between the normal worksheets. Gee.) Z wacked me with the 1meter ruler in front of the whole class when we are lining up for class causing me to cry. Thinking back, I was like what the hell? What's wrong when I wrote a little messier than usual, and I was wacked? when the teacher doesn't usually wack other people? Shouldn't they give special consideration for sick kids? Gee. I should HAVE SUED HER! If I was smarter back then, when I know about child abuse. And the worst thing, she called my mum and told her that I'll be fired if I do another mistake. Obviously, She was having a prejudice against me, and I can see Y AND X smilling when I was crying across the room. Gee. They are evil. And how can I ever forgive for what they did last time? I really don't understand myself. Am I naive? I couldn't even differentiate between evil and good. Thinking back, I was seldom bullied in class, and usually I hang out with the quiet ones. Since, X is a popular girl (everyone will not bully her since she was a niece of Y), she backstab me with the other kids in order to get supports. Gee. I really don't know what she was thinking back then. Did I do anything wrong to you? What I remembered was, She was a pretty looking girl with black hairbands sitting beside me on the first day of school. OK whatever, the story doesn't end here.

In standard 2 (Year2), terrible things happened.
X as protected as usual, ended up as a bully (not really). Well, I guess I can put her as the main character in Mean Girls, with a gang of friends who are backstabbers. Well, what they did was this to me. X stole my favourite pencil box, Which I felt that she was stupid and dumb at that moment. Gee. There was a pencil ink mark all over the pencil case, and she denied that it was her new one. Who will ever buy a expensive pencil box, I mean USED PENCIL BOX. You think our parents really allowed us to do that? Wasting money on a used junk? Gee. Obviously she stole mine along with my rubbish on my desk. Well, back then, I took bus home, so I usually left my books in my desk. For what I remembered, I left my pencil box at school for break, along with a bunch of textbooks and colouring books. And yeah, I found her using my colouring book and my textbooks with my name on it. She insisted that she wrote my name on it for fun. GEE. Being alone at that moment, I was paniced and sad. I searched for help and evidence around the class. AND I ACTUALLY FOUND A FEW FRIENDS OF MINE, WHO CAUGHT HER STEALING. BUT THEY HELPED HER INSTEAD. WHY? CAUSE SHE'S A NIECE OF Y AND EVERYBODY IS SCARED THAT THEY MIGHT GET IN TROUBLE. I went up to my classteacher, and told her about it. Obviously, she would not make it as a big thing. If that happened to normal ordinary kids, I guess they might be punished in front of the whole school. But that's not what happened to her. Instead, my teacher told me that I must be accusing her. WTF! So I cried, cried and cried. Till my eyes are sore, told my parents, AND OBVIOUSLY MY PARENTS ARE REALLY ANGRY. You si beh think my parents are no one in the world? Ok, well maybe they are not that big in school, but anyway, anyhow they are more educated than all the teachers in the entire school (since most of them are secondary graduates). Gee. So my mum went to the school the next day with my dad. Talked to my classteacher. At that moment, my classteacher was terrified with my dad. OBVIOUSLY. And she apologized to me, and X gave me back my pencil case and was really terrified that my parents will see Y and tell her about it. Gee. My parents gave her a chance that time, stating that she should not bully me anymore. But I guess, she was really scared of my parent till now? (Wasn't really close with her till now). But those apologies only lasted for a few days I guess.

Anyway, X maintained as a black name in my family till now. Not that I still hated her, I'm neutral. For all the things that she have done to me, I've only remembered 2 out of trillions of them. My dad still mentions her name, but I seldom ignored him.

Well, I suddenly remembered another event during standard 6. The teacher was not married (I guess most of you understand what I meant). Gee. She was a great teacher, I do respect her. But once, I guess she see things differently sometimes. She made me and my whole group of friends stand somewhere(don't remember it clearly), till even the teachers are curious of what happened to us. Many of them asked her why she punished us, but none of them found out the answers. Gee. The main reason that she punished us was that we hold hands with each other (note, we are all girls) when she asked us questions. And it was recess. I guess It was normal for primary school girls to hold each other hands during recess. Gee. We are all still under development. During that age, obviously we are normal to hate guys, and tend to stick around with the same gender (Except few, that are mature enough for that stage). Lol.

PS: After learning so many things, I soon found out that what we learned during primary school are not really that trustable. For example, I remembered clearly a failed experiment which is OBVIOUSLY SUPPOSED TO BE A SUCCESS. Gee.
That teacher, was so called the head of the science department and one of the best science teacher in my school. What he did was pretty funny.
We used the blue and red litmus paper to experiment between neutral, acid and bases. My teacher insisted us on bringing oyster sauce, salt, sugar, and lemon (I remembered it clearly since I poured the whole oyster sauce in my bag, and my textbooks are fulled with oyster sauce. yuck). And the funny part is that we put the litmus papers on a dry surface of salt & sugar. GEE. OBVIOUSLY IT WILL FAIL. Even a secondary school student will know that we can only do it in liquids. GEE.
PPS: The story above is not meant to jack anyone. Was just a reflection of my life which NOT MUCH PEOPLE KNOW IT IN MY LIFE.

Promises

I PROMISE MYSELF THAT I MUST STUDY BIOLOGY AND START DOING PSYCHOLOGY ESSAY SOON!!! I MEAN NOW!!!

Happy Birthday Andrew!!

Before I forget, A BIG SHOUT OUT FOR ANDREW!!!

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY. And you are finally no longer 18.

And this is a portrait of him. (Obviously he's not that old. It's drama exam.)

Prosh Week & Tags

I'm gonna get bored of my imeem soon. Thanks to Leo and Damien, to keep playing the songs over and over again for the whole night. Have to think for alternatives. I really don't want to hate the mamma mia soundtrack.

Have been tagged by a friend of mine, Leo (OA) for this psychology/behaviour/attitude test. OH whatever. Some of them sounds like me, but NOT ALL. To be honest, I don't want to have those attitudes/behavior. But it do sounds interesting.

I'll not be as kind as Leo for tagging those interested. Instead, I'm tagging a few buddies of mine. Just to know what you guys are thinking.

15)This the last but most important part of the test.

From how i ended the story... a tornado approaches... What are you going to do? There are only 3 options;

Prosh Week.

Prosh Week have been a tradition in my current university(Melbourne). To be exact, it will be held for a duration of approximately 7 days during mid august. Anyway, that's not the point. As a first year asian student that have not be exposed to these activities, I was shocked!
First of all, prosh week started with the cover of the school weekly magazine.

...

Yes! You are absolutely right. They are students from my uni, and they are running nakedly just to get the Prosh week trophy. (And it's taken right in front of Bailieu Library)

That's not the worst part yet.
Heard from my friends, that during some of the lectures, there are naked men and women running inside the lecture hall. Fark! I wanna see! I was having my damn biology lab during that time!!

And there was a guy, singing in my Biology Lecture. Gosh. He was really funny. Everyone was laughing their ass out during that moment. GEE.

Happy Birthday Mummy!

I've been not feeling well lately. Due to my sickness and of course the side effect of the pill. The pills are great, since I did not felt hungry for the whole day. However, since the pill functions to suppress my appetite and to boost my energy and metabolism, I certainly felt shaky and lack of energy. Maybe they have all been burned and I've not been eating enough calories.

Anyway, Just wanna wish my mum

HAPPY 47th Birthday !!! (OPPSSS.)

And my mum's being so cute today. Anyway, she have always been my bestfriend. Not those that I'll share secrets about my love life, who I have crushes on and so on (That's definitely not a mum and daughter topic). She definitely does other things that I do with my friends, and even more intimately.

A short convo with my mum today (SMS)

Me: Mummy!! Happy Birthday.
Mum: Where's my present? (GOSH, she's so straight forward)
Me: Er.. I'll get u a dummies guide for computer for elderly. *haha*
Mum: Oh, Not bad. Don't have big fish, a small prawn is good enough. (WTF. I know she's expecting/hinting LV Bags from me)
Me: But where's my bd present? I want a trade. (Gee. since I've not been home, and I was undecided for my birthday present, I havent get any this year)
Mum: What do you want?
Me: I want loads of new clothes!! I NEED SHOPPING!!!!
Mum: Have you lost your belly? (WTF!)
Me: No, they are still as big as ever.
Mum: How can you expect new clothes when your belly are still there. They will be as ugly as ever. (WTF!!! PURE CHA!!!)
Me: I DONT CARE, I WANT!!!
Mum: I want to see you lose your belly first. (GRHHH. geram)

Did not reply here after that, since I was busy cooking. Went on speechless.
But did you get it? That's the way I sms with my mum. And sometimes that's our conversation line. Not to say I did not respect her. But we are always cha-ing and jacking each other with words.
Have to admit my mum is really a cool mum.

Why my mum is so cool? (No offence, I do think my mum is different than other parents that I know, and she's definitely way different than my dad - although she's the older one).

1. Mum have always been open minded. (Not as in she sleep with guys or club or whatsoever). She does accept facts, and cultural differences. And the best thing of all, she even listens to the latest musics on radios (And she's the one introducing me new songs, which I certainly felt more outdated than my mum).

2. My mum hates oldies. I definitely don't know why she can stand my dad's obsession about Bee Gees, Teresa Teng and Beyond. Best of all, she adores Lee Hom.

3. I have the same fashion sense as my mum. Not as in we buy the same clothes. She do dress according to her age, but not those Auntie clothes that can be found in the night market. She shops with me in MNG, Zara, Guess and Topshop. Excepts, she do love clothes from Dorothy Perkins, and I hate it!

4. My mum reads my story books. Not those childish books, but we do share magazines and fictions (since I read adult books, and she's an adult, so it cancel off anyway). Oh yeah, she read my fashion magazines! WEE!!

5. I counsell my mum. Whenever she's depressed. And I do call her whenever I feel like. Cause she do understands me. Not like my dad.

6. MY MUM IS PRETTY AND HOT!!! GOSH!! I definitly wish I'm half as pretty as my mum. Even now, she have guys that courts her in her office. And some of them even asked her out for movies - they thought she's single since she looked like her 30's. I've heard loads of love story from my aunt about how people chase her and stuffs. AND I DO MEAN LOADS OF GUYS. According to my aunt, she was like the prettiest in their whole village(kampung). *JAWS OPEN WIDE*

Although she do have weakness. For example, she don't know how to function the internet properly. At least, she do know how to use the normal computer functions. I guess internets are just too high tech for her. If she does know how to function the internet, I'm dead.

For my conclusion today, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMMY!! YOU ARE THE BEST MUM EVER!!!
Considering she cooks well, she sews, wash, clean, garden, etc. NOT TO MENTION, her academics are good. Her jobs are all highly ranked before she quit to take care of me and my brother. She's a superwoman!
