Glowing pigs under fluorescent light!
How cool is that? I really do wish I own one of the piglets. These pigs are actually injected with the glow in the dark genes from jellyfish. And they are used to study about humans. :D

The end of a couch potato

OK, TODAY IS GOING TO BE THE LAST DAY I'M BEING A COUCH POTATO!

Cause this semester is getting harder, and I really don't want to spend my parents money retaking. And it's like a must for me, If i want to go to the law school (which I'm still really undecided).

Hang on Julia Low.

TILL THE LAST DAY OF THIS SEMESTER.
(I CAN DO IT!!)

Have just finished my last episode of Lipstick Jungle. Well, it was ok. Audrey introduced me watching it. And yeah, Lindsay Price was gorgeous. I love her dresses. The story line was ok. Will not comment much about it, cause it's more about moderly middle age women, that I'm still not very certain about.

Have to admit, I'm still immature at times.

I GUESS, we just have to look things at the positive side!

NO MORE JASON !

*Confetti*
*Confetti*

*CLAPS!!!*

Have been a long time since I last blogged. And the last post, was about how paranoid I was for my results.

Well, it came out pretty good, and I was surprised. XD

It was a pretty good day today, cause I've only got a 2 hours of Cognitive Psychology.

AND THE LECTURER WAS JASON FORTE!

Remember that lecturer I was cursing from the last few post, the one about neuropsychology.
And It happens that this semester, he's taking 2 lectures of Cognitive Psych as well.

And it happens that today, is his last lecture! I was so freaking happy, that I gave him such a big applause shouting "YES NO MORE JASON!"

Ok, I get it, no more jason forte isn't something so good to be blogged about. To be positive, he's a good lecturer, it's just I that I hate perceptions and all about how our brain works.

Well, that's what we people do. People with not much happenings in life.

Warning: For those who have brains

Just wanna stress out,

1) PEOPLE WHO THINKS, KNOWS THAT REINFORCEMENTS OF UNWILLING BEHAVIORS WILL ONLY CAUSE HIGHER REINFORCEMENTS OF UNWILLING BEHAVIORS

2) PEOPLE WHO ARE GUILTY OF THEIR OWN BEHAVIORS, WILL NOT HAVE THE COURAGE TO ADMIT

3) EVERY INDIVIDUALS HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH.
And this is according to human right under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and recognized in international human rights law in the International Covenant on Civil And Political Rights (ICCPR)
- According to Article 19, this includes internet - freedom of information

4) IF YOU THINK YOU ARE SMART, BELIEVE ME YOU ARE NOT

Have a think about it, and if you're still figuring it out, then I suppose, YOU NEED A BRAIN IMPLANT. :D

la la la la

I've just burned my brain. Feeling paranoid, yet sick. Hate this feeling the most. Another day till my results are out. Gosh. I'm freaking worried for calculus. It's not like I dunno how to do the paper, but it's like I know I've made lots of mistakes in it. I don't know where, but somewhere. Shit. Just hope I'll pass, so I dont have to spend to summer doing calculus. Argh. I seriously dont wanna retake.

Tuesday, June 16, 2009

literally, i'm having my exams tomorrow. Oh god.
Neuropsych is fucking hard. (Have to use this word here, cause I've no other words to describe the toughness)
Seriously, I dunno what to expect from this lecturer, as he's giving us facts, as if I'll get a phd by reading his notes. Read it over and over again, and nothing goes inside my brain.
wtf

Everything will come to an end

Wow, today was the last day of the semester. And it passed by just like that.
Ok, I've been waiting for this day, not on the fact that I'll miss all my friends at stuffs, but psych essay's marks will be handed out today. Have been paranoid about it. And I actually did pretty well. :)

This semester have been full of fun, joys and laughter. I miss the fact that this semester is so much fun that the last one. I'm actually making loads of friends in classes. Friends that are not "hi bye" friends. I name those friends that you will only say hi and bye to them as "hi bye".

But I guess, everything will come to an end. And the cycle will start again next semester.
Well, I guess, I have to let it go, and start studying.

Exam is like what? In a week?

The Chocolate Diet

Great news! You can now lose weight + chocolates + your favorite food! And you don't have to starve yourself!

Isn't that just great?

You can actually lose up to 2kg (or maybe more) in a week. :)
I've actually only lost 1.5kg, but am extremely happy with the results. And my aunt actually lost more than 5kgs by eating dark chocolates.

So, what you need to do?

1. Stock yourself with lots of dark chocolates.
NOTE: YOU CAN ONLY USE DARK CHOCOLATES ( from 85% onwards). But I'll strongly suggest using the 70% dark chocolates first, if you really dislike the taste of dark chocolates. 85% dark chocolates can be really bitter.

2. Have a small piece of dark chocolate, 5 minutes before meal. And another piece, 5 minutes after meal.

Rules:
- Only up to 8 PIECES PER DAY! (Dark chocolates are extremely high in calories!, therefore, you need to slightly reduce your intake of food to spare the 8 piece of chocolates per day)

PS: For better results, reduce intakes of fats. And eat only 3 meals per day with appropriate serving size. Mid snacks are allowed, but eat lower calorie snacks (such as a piece of fruit, or nuts) to enhance the amount of weight loss.
- You can eat normally for your meals :)
- Drinks lots of fluids (8 glasses of water). Eating too much of dark chocolates without drinking enough fluids may cause sore throat.

Why do you lose weight?

1. There are many advantages of eating dark chocolates. Don't believe? Google it.
Dark chocolate have antioxidants. Antioxidants leads to higher metabolism, which then leads to weight loss. These antioxidants are not found in milk or white chocolates. As chocolates being washed down with milk, the antioxidants are lesser, you just won't lose weight, but gain weight. So whenever you go, just order dark chocolates instead of milk or white.

2. You will experience a loss of appetite. And you feels full (which will then prevent you from having snacks and overeat!)

Furthermore, dark chocolates lowers blood pressure.
Just be careful, not to binge!

GOOD LUCK!!XD

Super simple dinner

Last two days ago, I was being lazy. As usual. And ended up cooking a extremely simple yet satisfying 3 dish meal. I've only used 20 minutes to cook. Hurray!!

And I've created this lemon chicken. And it was yummy! XD

Photobucket

Simple Lemon Chicken

- 1 Box nuggets/ chicken strips
- 1 packet of lemon chicken sauce

Oven the nuggets, so you can save your time on deep frying. And it definitely reduce the amount of oil/fats in your nuggets. And microwave your sauce in the microwave for 1 minute. And mix the sauce and the nuggets!

And if you have more enthusiasm, head down to the nearest KFC, for crispy strips or popcorn chickens to replace the nuggets. :)

I've got big stomach. And i'm fat!

Bubu's like seriously overweight. He's like 3.2kg. Overweight by 0.2kg. Gosh.
Should reduce his snack intakes. :)

Just came back from dinner, and it's late. :)

Went for Hwaro, the place that I'm actually planning to celebrate my birthday, but canceled. The food is awesome, I seriously love korean food. It's like so healthy, and vege-ish. Ok, I know I'm the only one eating veg, cause damien hates it. And everything went well, the atmosphere, good food, etc. Till we pay the bill, damien realised he lost his dim sum card. Gosh. I was actually more panicked than Damien. Have to admit, I have panic attacks frequently, and I can get panic on really small things. Well, that's the nature of me I guess.

Well, back to the point. We checked, and re-checked his wallet, and it's really gone. And we recalled, the last time we used the food card, is like 1 month ago, during the easter break. Gosh. Have to call his mum, bro, and his sis to cancel the card. Lucky for him, the card was not used. PHEW.

Ok, I'm really scared of this sort of things. If it's me, I'll even cry in the restaurant, tram, and back home, eventho my dad is ok about it.

Life just can't get a little easier

Fine, it's not like i'm having a big crisis in my life. Nevertheless, it's still ok. It's just i'm not ready.
Not ready to even think that I'll be having a big exam in exactly 1 month time (for my bio paper).
Omg, i seriously hate bio, when it comes to exam. So many things to cramp. Gosh. And psych!

AND I DONT WANT TO STUDY YET! I KNOW I NEED TO.

School ain't easy

I've got so many things to catch up. But I'm feeling lazy. There are all sorts of excuses i give myself each day, when I'm too lazy to wake up in the morning especially for 9am classes. And I always blame on the weather.

Just finished my psych essay last friday, and I just realized swot vac will be in 1 month time, or maybe lesser.

gosh.

Easter Break

Easter break just started. And I don't think this is really a break at all. Well, I did hibernate today. Lots of streamings and rottings. And since it's Good friday today, and in Aus, Good friday is a big day. Supermarkets are closed, cinemas- not sure, no trams working. Well, that explains how empty the city is.

And back to the topic, I've just got so many things to do during the Easter break. At first, I thought my Easter break would be great, since my birthday is during the break, i thought it would be a Birthday Holiday. But turns out not. :(

I've got 2 exams after this break, for Chinese and Bio. Lots of memorizing and understanding for both. And another 40% psych essay to be handed in 2 weeks after easter break. And I have to write a thousand words on sunset illusion and another 1k words on Illusions and Sensation. Crap isn't it?

***

Oh yeah, that reminds me. I've got a sudden rush of adrenaline/hormones on hot cross bun cravings two days ago. Well, It all started with hot cross buns sold all over the place. It's like wherever I go, I hear about hot cross bun. And I seriously thought it was just a sudden craze, Why are these hot cross buns sold all over the place. A huge stacks in safeway, free hot cross buns in uni, bakers delight "Special highlighted" hot cross buns, gloria jeans highlight of the day- hot cross buns. Gosh. I was wondering why are all these hot cross buns all over the place. What's wrong with these people.

And after a really long time, I realized people eat hot cross buns for Easter. OK, I know I'm dumb. After staying for 2 years approx here, I don't even know it's related to Easter (cause they don't do it back home in Malaysia). I seriously thought Easter is all about the bunnies, eggs, chocolates ( Well, that's from what I've observed from Big W).

And Seriously I feel the traditions here are just so cute, most of the festival goodies are related to dried fruits. AND THEY DON'T TASTE REALLY THAT GOOD! Well, they are OK, but not ultimately delicious. During Christmas, there is this really expensive pudding called the plum pudding. On the first Christmas I celebrated here, I did not buy it. But we bought a tiny one last year, and it cost us 3 dollar plus, and It only lasted for like 2 bites? And they are just fruit cakes, maybe a little bit more pudding like. And now easter, with hot cross buns (which are made from dried fruits again)

But i have to admit, these buns taste awesome when they are heated in the oven for 10 minutes before eaten, and with butter of course. Ok, it do sounds alot of calories. Just be careful, have to keep reminding myself each bun cost me 300 approx calories!

***

Bubu's time:
Bubu's growing, and he's fatter and naughtier. And he likes to bite. Sounds irritating? Well, not really, but i'm seriously irritated at times. But he's seriously cute!

Bubu sleeping

With his first and favourite toy

Chicken stick treats. Used to distract him from bitting wires.

His best friend, the vacumn cleaner. See how much he loves them.

Awwwww!!!

Damien's 20th Birthday:

Well, Damien's really lucky. His mum and sister got him a ps3. How lucky is him. Well, he's always luckier than me. That's like a big duh.

I made him red eggs.

The sparkle candle

Ok, i admit i'm childish at times

a 20 year old kid on the plane?

Looks nice right? I only ate 3 bites. Saving the calories. :)

Ultimate bad luck

I seriously don't know what happened to my life. I guess that's the way of life, ups and downs. Well, I'm not really down, to be exact. It's just, there are too many dramas and accidents happening in my life lately.

Well, first of all,

1. I sprained my ankle during gym. Gosh, and the feeling of it sucked. Like max. Ok, I know most of you experienced spraining, but I don't. This is like the first time I ever strained my leg this seriously.

2. My bubu was attacked by Ariel and Rocky. He was like seriously injured, and we have to admit him to the emergency vet at midnight. And bubu was bleeding non stop, and he cried. Ok, now he's alright. But it's still wounded, and he bleed when he shit. Gosh. Internal Anal bleeding I guess.

Well, I really do hope these dramas will stop soon. :)
And mid sem test is just around the corner, and I'm so left behind.

Running out of time

For the first time, ever since I left for Melbourne, I actually felt that time is gold in KL.
I've got so many things to do, in 1 week time? GOSH!

1. I haven't meet up my tunas yet for the 2nd time
2. Haven't sing karaoke
3. No dim sum yet
4. I need loads of shoppings
5. Buy puzzles
6. Valentines! (We planned to book at Equatorial Hotel for high tea)
7. Farewell dinner?
8. Meeting up with Ah Beng & Ming Zid
9. I WANT TO EAT ICE KACANG AGAIN!
10. And worst, I haven't go to school to collect my SPM cert (even it's not really that important now, since I've already got into uni)

Gosh!! And there are like loads of dresses that I want from forever 21.
And my miniatures! I've got seriously in loved with Megahouse miniatures and re-ment.
I'll post up my miniatures soon, since I've already got the full collection of Puchi Airplane Meals and a Bakery Set! Luvesss

Monday, February 9, 2009

I guess I should blog like everyday now, not really everyday, but once every 2 days at least? Well, there's a reason for my sudden rush of enthusiasm on blogging. Not pms (nobody pms-ed on blogging I guess, er?).

I've just read my old blog, and I've realised there's just so many interesting little bits of things that I've gone through for the past few years, and I DO REALISED that I'm growing (Gosh!). And It's kinda fun, to see mood swings, events that I've forgotten, my changes in literature and vocab terms (and I do realised that I was lala (hate to admit it, but true), I used to use fonts like tHiS) and loads more. XDD

Ok, I shall start blogging later, not now, it's like 2.52 am (Malaysia time) now. Gosh. And I have to wake up early morning tomorrow to exercise. It will really be a tiring day SOON.

Does Asian really have to stay asian?

It really made me wonder, why we Asians have to stay the weight we are. For these past few weeks of holiday, my mum have been bugging with my weight issue, and I'm not overweight, my bmi is perfectly healthy, but she was like " You are an Asian, so you have to stay like what Asians weight". I told her about my healthy BMI (not to say I'm proud, but it's still a fact), she got really pissed and said "Don't be a chinese, if you wanna compare your weight with the Aussies". Oh please, since when did I ever wanna compare with them, I'm like a "mini" compared to them.

Gosh, so is this a social norm comformity?

:)

KL FOOD IS AWESOME. IT'S FINGER LICKING GOOD!

AWWW!!!

Ate steam fish with ginger ( i know it disgust you, but i really loved it)
"sang cheong" - a special part of pork intestine
sizzling hot plate tofu

and a supposed to be chinese new year dish, made from lotus and fish paste - not so awesome though.

Happy Back Home :)

I'm finally back home, so what shall i say, it's a pretty good impression this time. Was way better than last time, I couldn't mind staying at home for another 25 days, seriously. Since I felt the need of hibernation, and it certainly felt more homely this time.

Normally, i used to have a disgust impression when I'm back in KL. Maybe the phobias of immigrants (worried that they will snatch my bag or something), but it turned out pretty good this time, since I chose to sit at the side, instead of standing in the middle of the arrival hall.

The flight was good, nothing to complaint about, I love flights!

And Malaysia wasn't that hot this time, Maybe Melbourne was like near 40 degrees (which I'm quite used to it), and KL was like 28 degrees with air cond. So no complaints.

And I actually acted quite like a santa claus this time, again. I'm used to that.
Half of my luggage is actually full of gifts for my parents and bro. Ok, so not actually gifts, to be precise, just bringing back what they called me to buy for them.

But the gifts are really pure luxury gifts. I even longed for these things, but.. er.. sigh.
Ok, I shall not complaint.

I bought Mum, 1 louis vuitton bag, 1 longchamp handbag, 1 Guess handbag, 1 MNG silk dress, 1 Kenzo set

Dad, 2 ralph lauren shirts, 2 burberry perfumes.

Bro, tees from mooks.

See, you get it huh? All of them are actually branded, except the MNG I guess, I dont really count MNG as branded. Just a personal opinion though.

***

So back to KL topic,

My house is wireless now, which is good, cause I can online in my room.

And, I ATE CHICKEN RICE WITH CHA SIEW TODAY. Something I've longed long enough. Awwww!!!

Shall proceed to the living room to play wii. XDD

Detox diet -II

Guess what, I'LL NEVER EVER DO A DETOX DIET ANYMORE. I MEAN NO MORE!

Not that it's bad, or anything, but it just doesn't suit me. So up goes another failure diet on me. And hell yeah, it's stacking up. As usual.

So what happened is, I actually had difficulties breathing on the first, second and third night. On the first few days, I thought it was normal, since I was coughing and sick. But not till the third day, when I googled "dizzy, headache, breathing difficulties detox".

And guess what, some of the results actually refer it as a good symptom. I was like "wtf?", and they explained it in a medical way, saying when you have toxic in your blood stream, you actually feel these. Hey, I actually can't breath, AND YOU CALL THIS HEALTHY?

Ok, fine, I actually ate some panadols, and continued my will on the detox. And the next morning, it felt worst, my legs are trembling, and I can't breath again. And this time, I actually stopped it, and grab myself grains to bite on for energy, and it felt so much better. Gosh, I really shall not starve myself anymore.

I swear that I will go on a healthy 1200 calories diet, or perhaps more on certain days, with exercises. NO MORE SHORTCUT WAYS. DAMN. A hard fact, but true, I've tried hundreds of diets, and none of them actually worked, except learning to eat healthily and exercising.

Review on detox diet :

Weight lost: 1-2 lbs per day, but depends, you can actually lose 2lbs on the first day, and gain back another 1lbs the next day (water weight).
Food: Sucks. I hate raw vegetables, and cooked without salt veg.

Sunday, January 11, 2009

Vegetable and fruits detox

I'm currently doing a detox now. To clean the extra waste on my colon, and stomach, and my extra fats away. So, I'm gonna stay for 2 weeks with vegetables and fruits only. *wee*

Today's my third day, And I'm really feeling better, since I kept on shitting. WAKAKA.

It's really quite simple to follow, and all you need to do, is to be patient.

Will write the details on the next post.

Am busy watching cooking master boy. Oh yeah, AGAIN. XD
