Easter break just started. And I don't think this is really a break at all. Well, I did hibernate today. Lots of streamings and rottings. And since it's Good friday today, and in Aus, Good friday is a big day. Supermarkets are closed, cinemas- not sure, no trams working. Well, that explains how empty the city is.
And back to the topic, I've just got so many things to do during the Easter break. At first, I thought my Easter break would be great, since my birthday is during the break, i thought it would be a Birthday Holiday. But turns out not. :(
I've got 2 exams after this break, for Chinese and Bio. Lots of memorizing and understanding for both. And another 40% psych essay to be handed in 2 weeks after easter break. And I have to write a thousand words on sunset illusion and another 1k words on Illusions and Sensation. Crap isn't it?

Oh yeah, that reminds me. I've got a sudden rush of adrenaline/hormones on hot cross bun cravings two days ago. Well, It all started with hot cross buns sold all over the place. It's like wherever I go, I hear about hot cross bun. And I seriously thought it was just a sudden craze, Why are these hot cross buns sold all over the place. A huge stacks in safeway, free hot cross buns in uni, bakers delight "Special highlighted" hot cross buns, gloria jeans highlight of the day- hot cross buns. Gosh. I was wondering why are all these hot cross buns all over the place. What's wrong with these people.
And after a really long time, I realized people eat hot cross buns for Easter. OK, I know I'm dumb. After staying for 2 years approx here, I don't even know it's related to Easter (cause they don't do it back home in Malaysia). I seriously thought Easter is all about the bunnies, eggs, chocolates ( Well, that's from what I've observed from Big W).
And Seriously I feel the traditions here are just so cute, most of the festival goodies are related to dried fruits. AND THEY DON'T TASTE REALLY THAT GOOD! Well, they are OK, but not ultimately delicious. During Christmas, there is this really expensive pudding called the plum pudding. On the first Christmas I celebrated here, I did not buy it. But we bought a tiny one last year, and it cost us 3 dollar plus, and It only lasted for like 2 bites? And they are just fruit cakes, maybe a little bit more pudding like. And now easter, with hot cross buns (which are made from dried fruits again)
But i have to admit, these buns taste awesome when they are heated in the oven for 10 minutes before eaten, and with butter of course. Ok, it do sounds alot of calories. Just be careful, have to keep reminding myself each bun cost me 300 approx calories!

Bubu's time:
Bubu's growing, and he's fatter and naughtier. And he likes to bite. Sounds irritating? Well, not really, but i'm seriously irritated at times. But he's seriously cute!
